Projects

Meaningful STEM education requires hands-on projects that use technology to solve problems in the real world. We collaborate with students to educate them about the urban environment, introduce technical skills, and improve schools and communities. Example projects include web-connected soil moisture sensors for schoolyard gardens, solar-powered birdhouse cameras, and a sewer inlet sensor that leverages social media to monitor accumulation of litter. We are constantly developing low-cost, accessible, and open-source technologies to engage students in environmental projects.
